Welcome

Thanks for taking the time to sign up.

As we westerners complain that the art of puppetry is dying on our continent, it seems that things are harder in many places that we think would be using this form regularly and making a good living at it....oh contrar.

Thanks for letting us know the challenges puppeteers are having in your country, I hope that you can bring life back to puppetry in your country and if we can help in any way please let us know.  This site and our members are about promoting puppetry not only in the Western area also around the world.

Keep in touch and thanks for posting a picture, we love pictures of puppets....

Hi,

I appreciate your interest to promote puppetry around the globe.

I am posting some pics of puppets created for an exhibition in Augsburg Puppet theatre & Museum, Germany last year.
After the exhibition the puppets are kept in their museum as a permanent display. These puppets are contributed by the
tsunami women from three fishing hamlets as part of our Green coast Wetlands International project. These puppets  represents
the culture & costume of the local community.

Besides entertaining puppets are also cultural Ambassadors promoting the heritage of any country. Enjoy the pix.
