I have a pop-up blocker on my browser and it came up anyway. But yes, point well taken. I'd forgotten about blockers... I'll find another way to add it to the site - possibly just a link from my 'new' image (the little man at the top of the page, which I use to place messages of what's new on the site).

I just wanted to let everyone know..

After nervously worrying about the puppet store, it looks as though my site is working wonders in other ways. Two weeks ago I was contacted about a puppet commission (nothing happening on that front yet), but today I was contacted about another one, and someone called me about finding Audrey puppets. <b>And</b> I've got a job interview on Wednesday for something I applied for three weeks ago!!

I'm starting to think I should be building Audreys now...

I'm creating a new gallery to host on my site which showcases the puppets, plus I'll be adding a new feature to the generator next week.

I've gotten my gallery online finally. Please everyone check it out and let me know if anything needs fixing, or something seems missing... I had to backtrack somewhat on some of the images, so I'm sure I've stuffed up somewhere.

Also, do please try both versions: the small-scale embedded one, and the full browser experience. I tried the full browser, but found it was sizing itself a bit too big for my browser... so I just want to check whether that needs to be changed.

Sorry to keep posting, but...

I've made a decision as to how to proceed and need some help.

I'm going to be adding new customisations to the generator over the next week, which will include more human designs and options to have more eyes.

But I want to do something else too: I've been checking my stats, and one of the highest number of hits is on the puppet books page (actually goes to an Amazon page). Surveys so far also reveal that people are more interested in patterns and instructions.

So I'm going to write a book, which will include some explanations of puppets, some instructions, some patterns, and a few other things as well. I don't mind doing the writing, especially as I've written much of what I need already on my blog - there'll be extra stuff in the book that you can't get on the blog of course.

Has anyone here written a puppet book before, and will help me structure it? I've done editing before, but I need an outside POV for an objective overview. If any of you are interested in helping, do let me know. Can't promise money, but can promise puppets in exchange!
