Hi everyone! I'm an Aussie and have just started making puppets (I mean literally just started, the Easter weekend means I can finally play with the pattern!). I'm about to go sew my first one all together, so I'll be back with a triumph or a disaster
I've been lurking here a few days and it's a great board, you guys should be proud of your community here!

Welcome
We are so glad that you took the time to sign up and be part of our community. Hopefully you can put up some pictures of the puppet that you are making. If you get stuck do not hesitate to ask any questions or add any comments we are love to help out.
Thank you for the compliment, I don't like to talk for the group...however.....we are very proud of the support we provide in this community and love to meet and encourage new people.
I wish you luck on your first puppet project and can't wait to see some pictures once you are completed.

Hi Wildchook! I'm an Aussie too! Whereabouts are you?
I'm a puppet maker (albiet fairly new too), so if you ever need some help don't be scared to ask. Can't wait to see what you make!

Welcome to P&S. I made my first puppet last November and haven't stopped yet. It's kind of addictive for me. Good luck on your first puppet, take your time and do your best and you'll have something you can be proud of, even if its not perfect.
Post pictures we like to see what other people are doing.

Thanks for the warm welcome! The puppets (yes, i'm doing 2 at once, but both from the same pattern so that's nice and easy) are in various stages at the moment. I'll be sure to post some pics when they're presentable though!
Na, I'm near Melbourne and enjoying the break in the heat.
