Good idea but we'll need to know what to look for.  Jimmy said the puppets above were not the puppets lost.

Am I the only one who looks at your puppets and thinks about the movie "Dead Silence"

Jimmy lets us know what we can do as a puppet community to help ..... as Sonny mentioned we can alert you if we see any forsale. If you have pictures and can re-post them.

Not being nosey but do you carry insurance on your puppets and yourself while performing? We have discussed this in a another post.

Hey Jimmy:

I'm not sure about puppet thefts, but as for the magic community, there are bad folks in every crowd.  You're probably correct that you puppets were taken by non puppeteers/vents (due to the location of the display and time they were grabbed).  I have never been to a magic convention where at least one magician hasn't been ripped off by fellow magicians.  I've even been to a few small local lectures where rip offs have occurred, either of items that had been purchased or the lecture(s) had been ripped off.  There are several magicians that are known thieves.  I myself was ripped off at a magic flea market a year ago.  At least that resulted in two dealers attending buying my props.

You just can't trust everybody anymore and when you can't trust everybody, unfortunately, you can't trust anybody.  As Daryl said, make sure that whenever you display your stuff in the future that it is very secure.  Or maybe you should make one an animatronic on a motion sensor that will scare the s**t out of anyone stupid enough to try ripping them off and then sound a really loud, piercing alarm!  Serve a drunk right to get picked up for breaking and entering, theft and P.I.

Keep up the great SCARY work!

Marty
