Just put a video on Youtube from our Easter service. The puppet mouth and left hand is run by my son and the body and right hand are operated by me. We didn't have much practice time, Joseph and I practiced the song once together and the prop kids got stage fright and forgot to stand up to do their props, but everyone thought it was great. So check out the video.

It looked well put together and got a good message across to the audience.

Good job! I, too, didn't know any mistakes and thought it was well put together. I can't wait to do performances with my son! He is only two right now but I am already thinking ahead...hehe.

Hallo Jomama,
it looks great, well done! It's true that only we know where things went wrong, but when you talk with the audience... they didn't notice it.
Keep up the good work! And for the kids... hiphiphoera (dutch) great job, they only can learn by doing it.
I still remember the first time, I was 6 years old, I was standing before a audience of 600 people my knees were going up and down. For now, it's only my heartbeat that goes a little bit faster at the beginning of the play
greetings Johian

Jomama, great job. You and Joseph did a fabulous job for only one run through. I'm with everyone one else. I have no idea where any mistakes were.
Re: Youtube Posted by LJ on Apr 02, 2008
I thought it was great too! Like everyone else said, usually only the performers actually know where the mistakes were. It is very special to be able to perform with your family. We have spent since 2000 performing with our children and it has made us a closer family. Since our oldest is away at college we don't get to perform with him as often, but our youngest is at college in our town so he is still part of our group. ENJOY those times! They define your family time and make it something that you will cherish for years to come!

Very true. I have had the honor of performing with both of my children for the past 12 years and they are great! Both are in college away from home so it is not often we get to perform together. We are working on a program for the summer. I am excited about what is coming next.
Thanks all for the great feedback.
