New non-profit puppet theater in Austin, TX looking for volunteers to run the children’s theater dept. Qualified candidates will have experience with children’s puppet theater and be willing to book and or perform 12 shows a year. We’re a small theater and so we can’t offer a salary yet but we will supply you with a venue, lights, and sound, as well as split the door with you or any performers. Tickets will be on a sliding scale basis 3$ for those who can afford it and 1$ for those who can’t. Also looking for crafty folk to help with our children’s puppet workshops. WOW...what a wonderful opportunity for the right person. I wish I lived close by. I do have family in Texas and will be sure to visit your wonderful theater my next time out. I think it is a wonderful thing for you to offer a sliding entrance fee scale for those that cannot afford admission. The care that you show makes me want to see you in action!
