The Dream Team performances are on Saturday afternoon right before the end of I-Fest. Julie, we have not really decided on a day for the forum dinner yet, we will do that once we are there and find out the schedule for things. Watch to newsletters for each day!
By the way, I know what you mean about puppets begging to go ! I am having a hard time deciding which of my vent partners to take along. Lily of course thinks she HAS to go!! But Achan would like to go too! Decisions, decisions!!

Hey everyone! We are back from I-Fest and tired - BUT it was GREAT!!! I will try to post a few pictures tomorrow. I learned SO much being on the Dream Team and will also try to post a video clip of my part of the performance. It was fun to meet up with Toon Asylum and Jomama and MPGrace at I-Fest too!! All of you who are going to Vent Haven will have to give a report when you get back.

Made it back home from I-Fest. Awesome!!!! Met up with LJ, MPGrace and Toon Asylum. Learned so much and got some awesome video of various performances.
LJ was great in the Dream Team performance. Toon Asylum brough his dragon which was incredible and MPGrace was kind enough to lend me a couple of her creations to use for demonstration in a blacklight class I helped teach.
My workshop went very well and I will be teaching again next year. YES! I had a blast. Now to put into practice the new things I learned, all without moving my lips.
Later All!

Yes! I-Fest was a blast! This was my second year and wow! It just gets better every year! As usual, the Dream Team (Vent and Puppetry) performances were great but, to me, Christy Watkin's POWER Company presentation on Friday night was simply the best! It is very sad to see that was her last performance but I am very happy to hear that she'll continue to give guidance to those who seek to bring their puppetry to a higher level!
As for the classes, I was part of Raymond Carr's "Adventure in Experimental Puppetry" and what a blast we had! All I have to say, for those who were either involved or saw our presentation of "The Unnecessary Journey", is "DISPOSAL!"
For those who could not make it this year or wonder what it is, go to www.onewaystreet.com to find out more!

WOW!!! I'm I tired, but what great fun. I wasn't able to attend classes, but still had a wonderful time as an exhibitor. I made a lot of great contacts and friends. I am posting a photo myself, Toon Asylum and jomamma along with Toon Asylum's great dragon puppet. Thanks for also bringing your awesome dog and toucan. Attached is also a photo of the wonderful way that Christy Watkins used my "Heady" puppet in her production. I'm sorry I missed the Dream Team, but we had an 18hr drive. We just arrived around 9pm last night. Wish I could have met more folks, but we did spread the news about P&S as much as possible.

Thanks for the sweet words concerning my "Oh My" puppet. He's so sweet, but along with his other friends he has a new home.

A great time at I Fest this year!!
It was my first time attending and I had a blast. I was able to meet a few fellow PAS members from here and put a face with the name.(as mentioned above). I only wish the weather would have cooperated better, but all-in-all it was a good experience.
Oh, and even had someone recognize me from my "Fang" video.....LOL I'm such the celebrity now...hahaha

I just wanted to tell la882 that we have DISPOSAL at our house now!! My two sons were in that class too and sadly I was teaching a class so I had to miss the performance but I will look forward to watching the video. But Raymond sent DISPOSAL home with us! I watched your rehearsal on Thursday and was very impressed. Raymond is so creative!
