I am so glad to have found this board! So far, I have had to figure out a lot of stuff on my own, so it's nice to be able to see others in such a great and open community.

I just love learning new ways to improve my puppets as I am just a beginner, and am trying to figure out where to get better materials and such.  A while back, I saw a tutorial on making a cat, where it started from the very beginning of making the foam head all the way to the end. I wish I could remember where I saw that, b/c I loved that tutorial.

Glad to be here and I will hopefully meet many of you and learn something new, maybe even share a secret or two

Welcome to P&S.  I've only been building about five months and only been a member here about half that time.  You're going to find the folks here very helpful, knowledgable and encouraging.   As to the tutorial you wish you could find your way back too... Could it be the Ratchet Tutorial put out by the people a Swazzle?   If it is here's the link.  http://swazzle.com/blogs/2006/03/puppet-building-tutorial-ratchet.html  I loved this tutorial also and found it very help when I built my first puppet.

Yes, thank you! That was exactly the one I was talking about. It got me so excited about building my first puppet. We are making one tonight using the blinking eye tutorial, so I can't wait to see how it turns out!
