I picked up a pamphlet at UNIMA 2008 that has loads of info about the next festival in China. It has stuff on locations, accommodation, activities, etc.

I may have to role my pennies and save some as well to try to make it to that one.  I would have loved to go to Australia this year and meet up with Gary Friedman in his home town, he was here in BC for a few days and it was great getting to know him and doing a workshop with him.

Great- I came back last night (or this morning rather, at 1am). So I'll try and have the thing scanned by the end of the week. I might actually put the pics on Flickr, and that way everyone who wants to look, can.

Yeah, Gary's great, and I really enjoyed doing his workshop. It's also been nice to meet him, as I've known him online for a few years now.

I also saw a little video of the puppet festival that was in St Paul, Minneapolis, and I *so* want to come sometime and take part!

I've now uploaded pictures from the UNIMA 2012 brochure to my Flickr page. Do use the Large or Original sizes, because then you can read the text easier. Let me know if you want any close-ups done of any of the pages.

The order of the pictures are pretty much in order of the pages in the book, all except for the last one, which for some reason doesn't want to order alphabetically. It is pic0357, so just remember that it goes between the other numbers.

Would it be possible to get a photocopy by snail mail by any chance? Color would be great, but i will gladly settle for black and white. Oh and if you need help paying i can surely come up with someway of paying you.

If they were available for you  to get perhaps they have some left. Who would you contact.

I'm not sure. At UNIMA 2008, there was a table where people could leave fliers etc promoting their stuff. It sounded like anyone could leave something, so I don't think the organisers had a bunch stashed away, but that someone from the China committee would have just put a stack down.

I do however, have one spare copy: one problem, it's not in English. It may be Spanish... so if someone wants a Spanish version, I'd be happy to pass it on.

As for who to contact, my advice would be to call UNIMA USA and see if they have any; if not, contact the President of UNIMA, Massimo Schuster, who could probably pass you to the right person.

I do want to mention that the event is going to be held in Sichuan, the area affected by the earthquake - so it's probable that some of the information in the brochure is now out of date...
