yeah ive seen that video it doesent really explian how they made them though but it show lucas breast on the torso so I can look where they put them on it

The .se designation, is that Switzerland, Sweeden?  I assumed the Ave Q puppets were built here in the U.S.  Or is that just the designation of the videos web site?

Hey Marty,
I Think thats Sweeden. The puppets for that production were built in the Sweedish avenue q workshop for the Sweeden version of it. The originals made by Rick Lyon were for the US.
Funny though because I always thought Rick Lyon made the puppets for all official productions of Avenue Q..... but I guess thats quite a hard call

ya I love the video but I need to see how to make a body like kate's or lucy's they used the same color for the breast all the way I was gong to do pink the a differnt color for the nipple

first thing to remember is IT'S YOUR PUPPET.  Do what you want.  This being your first puppet there is very little chance it will look just like the avenue q puppet.  In fact I wouldn't even try to make it the same.  I guess I'm into doing my own thing.  Just make a great puppet and give it it's own name like kristy or sally or peggy or something.

ok so I guess I will use differnt a differnt color for nipple than for breast but I think I'm going to stick with "kate the slut" for the name

Root, can I ask you some questions? Since your asking all the questions here, I'd like to throw a few your way.

1. Youre focused on making your puppet to be " Kate the Strumpet" Why?

2. There are so many "way cooler" puppets to emulate, I mean thousands, and so many helpful people here to ask questions.
Why not let your inner JuJu help you complete your very own style puppet?

Be creative, close your eyes and imagine what you want to make. Look at all of our puppets. Take a little technique from all of us. Copying a puppet is fine with some. It may be complimentary to the orignal builder, some may have a stink about it. Look at many puppets. Maybe one has some cool hands that you like. Maybe another has hair that you think is wild or even another that has a nose you love. Take it all in and create your very own puppet.

I will create plenty of my own puppets after this one I just really want to make this puppet
