Craft Run Problems AHHHHHHH ;) Posted by DustBunny on Apr 19, 2008
So here is the deal...I just got back from a big craft store run to prepare for my upcoming puppet (woooohooooo!!!), but I ran into a problem...The thinnest polyfoam that Michael's, Hobby Lobby, and Walmart offered was one inch thick....Question One: Is this going to be way too thick and if so where can I order some 1/2 inch polyfoam
Also....I was looking through the fabric dyes, (to dye my antron fleece) and all the colors i needed were not available. I can get them on-line so no problem, but I'm not sure which color will give me the best skin tone. Question Two: What color gives the best Caucasian skin color?
Always at ur humble mercies,
The Dust Bunny

A couple of options for foam. Joann Fabrics. the one in my area usually has 1/2 inch foam. It's green but preety good quality. You can also look for an uphosterer supply company. They usually have a wide variety of foams and thicknesses.
Hope that helps.
