I think there's a section on skirts in the book. I haven't made one yet, but it shouldn't be too hard.

ya I'm using skirt to cover hand hole

Will she be sitting down at any point in your performance? If so, make sure to add extra length to the skirt. When puppets sit down, their pants/skirt rides up a little. (And can be quite rude for both the audience and your hand!)
