Now that is what i call BIG Posted by Sandra on May 06, 2008
Hello fellow puppeteers,
I was scrolling in YouTube, yet again, and i fell upon this video that i find breat taking because the puppet in this video is not only huge, but so realistic! I had to keep reminding myself that she was a puppet, and not a girl, as giant as she is.
Incredible!
Here is the link, enjoy!
Puppet hug,

Hello: This was pretty cool but creepy at the same time
Were those Monks working the Puppet?

I did not find her creepy at all, all i saw was the true definition of childhood, with big dreams and big eyes. I totaly fell in love with her, but i can understand how some people would be creeped out by seeing her. Its a bit like all of those science fiction stories where machines would enslaver humankind would become more real for some people.
Plus, she looks more real than many people i know. They really did a wonderful job i think! I do wonder when she was created, or what is her name?

That's a new video - very cool. Loved the tongue! Amazing.
We have posted that same marionette / London Parade elsewhere in the threads. But this is a different show than the previous post. It is so very cool.
I don't think they're monks, just the puppeteers going with the Sultan theme, dressing to be part of the illusion.

Hi Amybeth,
Thanks for posting those links. I was wondering who had created her, and if she was part of a show, the year of her creation, that sort of thing. Now, i can read more about that fascinating puppet.
