Puppets for upcoming show Posted by QTOP on May 21, 2008
Hi there,
I have only just joined your 'web group' but love to look at all your puppets and read about how you use different techniques to make your characters.
I have just volunteered as the publicity officer for QTOP (Qld theatre of puppetry) a puppet theatre that is non-profit that runs school holiday productions for children.
As I love to sew as well I have also put my hand up to help make puppets.
I made my first puppet the other week, his name is Norman (see piccie below) and now I have the following puppets on the drawing board:
* 3 sheep
* a baby
* the old lady who swallowed the fly

So I thought I would start a thread to share my making experiences and also to pick your brains as I go along!!!

Thanks in advance
Em
