can i have some help making a muppet style puppet based on this charecter?

im kinda low on funds

but i want to do a zelda comedy show

im new and i thought it would be cool becouse you dont see alot of video game puppets

This is a Dark Crystal type of puppet character.  Do you want to make this puppet yourself or are you asking for someone else to make it?

well i like how lucy looks from avenue q and i want to make her like that. i would try to make her. by the way, im a dude so, puppeteering a girl will be new for me so its kind of cool

The first place to start would be to find yourself a pattern that you want to use as a base. You might want to look at http://www.puppet-planet.com/ or http://www.projectpuppet.com/ for patterns. The first well have some free patterns you can use and the second has patterns for sell.

Don't worry about puppeteering a girl puppet she won't know the difference.  lol.  A lot of the girl muppets were handled by male puppeteers.

You're an animator so I assume that you can draw.  Draw a few pictures of what you want your puppert to look like.

Now study your drawings.  Does the head have a basic shape to it?  Is it oval, round, egg shaped, etc.  

Once you've decided the basic shape build that shape in foam the size you want your puppet to be.

Now you study the drawing and begin adjusting the shape to match you picture.  Add foam, remove foam or layer the foam, until your happy with the result.  Be patient and get this part right.  The foam will be the skeleton for your puppet.

Once your done with the foam its on to fabrication.

Work on the foam and post some pic of your progress.  I'm interested in seeing what you come up with and I know other are too.
