The following link is to the first of several videos Paul Louis posted on expertvilliage on puppet manipulation. A lot of good instruction that will go a long way in getting you started in using a puppet. http://www.expertvillage.com/video/4370_puppet-theater-intro.htm

Re: help with puppet Posted by mbarrow on Jun 04, 2008
is there anything special about using a female puppet
Re: help with puppet Posted by Jon on Jun 04, 2008
Blinking eyes usually have a lever in the head that allow the puppeteer to open and close the eyes. Somewhere in the forum there are instructions for making a blinking eye mechanism for a puppet. In fact, not long ago one of the members here built a puppet with blinking eyes. They can add to the puppets range of facial expression.

Yes I rememeber that discussion on blinking eyes to. there are many different ways from motors to cable control to simple levers. They are a challange to make work properly. I think we should learn to walk before we run. So lets start by making a head first then talk about mechanics.
