how about using arm rod tips

Arm rods can be a bit a a challange think of them as chop sticks and keep the hands down by the waist unless performing with thme. Its considered taboo to see the rods.

I think Dr Puppet already gave you the above suggestion for rod use.

Why are you bumping this thread?  Your questions have been answered from what I can tell and now it is up to you to take what folks have given you and do something with it.

Don't be afraid to dive and start building.  The best way to learn manipulation is to set in front of a mirror and play with the puppet.
