Looks like a star to me!   ................. Can't wait to see it finished. Good Job. If you decide to upgrade to a new star at a later time you already have the hard part done.

Ok so here she is well almost I still have to hide the cord under the arm with tubing . And I tried making her arms move but the cords and tubes kept getting tangled up . So now all she does is bow her head  but for my skit and story telling shes lovely . Wish you could see her in action but I need a video for that just a few final touches but I like her .
Shimmer & shine

One day I wished upon a star in the land of near and far . What the wish I shall not say But shine came to me that very day . She was but a glimmer her shine she had lost . But I Shimmer shall save her at any cost . So for days I thought she wasnt well . But then one day I heard a bell . I went downstairs and what could it be but shine was shinning for all to see . She thanked me and in her own special way asked me if she could stay . So my dear shine has never left my side . And I'd be lost without my guiding light !

It may be that with the design of the costume that it would be easier to run the tube with the lines down the side of your bodice to the waist. if you have any boning in the bodice try to run and attach the tube along one of them.  You could add color rings to the end of the strings so you would know witch one did which action!   I guess the "rings" could be some other decorative trim element that you continued around the waist.

It is a really nice costume and puppet. Congrats!
