whats the best shape head for a female puppet??? i hade one more head but it come out more like a man than a woman lol

I don't think there is a difference in the "shape" of a head between male and female when it comes to puppets.  About the only thing I can think of is that a males jaw line is often stronger or blocker but that really does not come into play with "muppet"/hand in mouth puppets.  It is more the features and clothing that you add to a puppet that defines them as male or female.

I agree with shawn like blue boy and bubble gum patty.................. They were both made by the same pattern

I sometimes just add a little polyfill to build up features under the puppet skin around the mouth,chin or cheeks. If you are carving from foam you can determine more of what the character will be in the way you shape the skull.  Accessories,eyes,eylashes,clothing, really makes your characters personality come out.

I took the same fabric I used to make the puppet just in lighter shade and cut it in strips and then stiched them down the center to form a wig. If need more instruction on how to make a wig let me know.
