Hello, I am new to this forum, and am not sure if this is the right place to post this.

I am wondering if there is anyone else here in Victoria that could tell me where to purchase puppets.  I am planning to also make some of my own, but I need 5 puppets in two weeks, and I am not sure I could make them that quickly.

Got excited then, until I looked into what BC meant.
I thought this puppettear lived near me in Victoria Australia and that I could help.

But alas now I am a little smarter as I have learned something today but are unable to help my Canadian friend.

Now BC = British Columbia Canada which to little uneducated me is strange as I thought Columbia was at the bottom of the USA and I know for sure Canada is at the top.

How are the two places associated by name?

Henry, as for British Columbia, it is one of the provinces of Canada.  Not really sure if there is an association between the two (don't think there is but I could be wrong).  But thank you for wanting to help.
