The Freecycle Network (www.freecycle.org) is a nonprofit website dedicated to helping communities keep good stuff out of the landfills by providing a means to share then with others that can use it. It's a movement of people who are giving (& getting) stuff for free in their own towns. Membership is free. To sign up, find your community and then sign up, it's simple.

I've freed myself of clutter that I had laying around the house as well as received many useful items including really nice clothes for my girls, storage bins for my office, puppet supplies such as fabric, golf balls, etc. and other household items that I would have normally spent money to purchase..... all for free!

Hi Donald! I'm bummed that I missed the last Vent meeting (last couple?) but I am getting back on my feet and feeling much better now. Just trying to dig myself out of all the back orders and stay healthy.

Glad everyone could use the information, someone shared it with me and I have come across some really useful things from the group in my area. Every little bit helps, right?
