Just in case any one over looked this......have you tried Google Image search?
I always find what I want under this category......good luck with your searches of stages.

It is much more comfortable to stand. This way, you can move about more freely with the puppets. It is about 7 ft high and about 4.5ft to the playboard - this is adjusted to the performers height of their shoulders because a special type of scenery goes in between the performers head & the puppets & you can see out of the scenery when it is dark Backstage, but the audience cant see you. This is great because you can see audience reactions etc.
Window opening varies but it should be around 30 " wide for a single performer.
Some people work hands above head, but this means a very high booth and the playboard therefore needs to be 1 inch above the performers height to conceal them.
If is made out of wood and it is therefore very strong. Only occasionally is it necessary to attach wind breaks and bunting. This will never fall down on you like the cheaply made PVC tubing stages you often see. The proscenium is made out of plywood and is in 3 separate pieces (top & 2 side pieces). Ive just got a booth that I'm working on for someone else so must go and work on that.
Cheers,
Dan

Thanks for the tip, Daryl! It is a lot of photos there. I must paste this photo I found... That was a work, to make that stage!
Thanks for the info, Dan.
An open question: If my theater (stage) is going to be use both by kids and adults, should it be still so tall to accommodate standing adults puppeteers?
