Most puppet stages I have worked with have been built so that adults performers used them from either a seated or kneeling position.  Because of this the over all height is lower making it easier for the audience to view the puppets from a sitting position but still close enough to see the puppets.

If there is a lot of action and movement back and forth across the stage it is more difficult than compared with a stage designed for a standing performer.  However the size of your stage is relatively small so this should not be much of a problem.

titere,

What style of puppets are you going to be useing? Are they hand puppets like "Punch and Judy" or are they hand in mouth puppet like the "Muppets"?

That makes a difference in how you make your stage. Normally puppets like  "Punch and Judy" would be used in the style of stage you have shown.  You would "stand" behind the backdrop and then hold the puppets up in front of the backdrop.  You would not "as a rule" hold them up over your head.

Jon, the size of the whole stage, is two meter wide. Not so big.

Shawn, the style of my puppets is hand in mouth puppet... But the fun thing about my theater,  is that is a "shadow theater" too! I plan to start the show with two hand in mouth puppets, and after 3 to five minutes, the lights go down, and a white framed paper replace the color background. The back light turns on, and the shadow theater begin (10 minutes play).
I have made four shadow puppets already!!

Like the trees in the front! It brings the story closer to the spectators. Try to make the shape of the trees in a way that they frame the "window" of your stage, so all elements of the design points to where the action is.

Cool idea doing a mock up with straws.  Great job on the design

Hi there again!

I love to do what I´am doing!

titere: thanks! I put the trees closer to the front panel (stiff board). I want that the trees are planar but 3-dimensional however. Ideas?

Front panel with chick and hare who peep from the forest. I think I glue green and brown cloth to the front panel. Or pulp. If I use pulp, I will paint it.

The chic is a pop-up puppet and the hare will be also.
