No, I have not. Can you do it with regular upholstery foam or only with scott foam? I have yet to work with scott foam.

RIT dye it great with foam it is the best for colouring foam. You can get it at Jo-Anne's as well as Michaels Craft Store. You can get a better selection of colours on the internet on the RIT site.
I like the liquid better than the powder but they are both great to use.

Stiqman:
Do you have to heat the liquid dye over the stovetop but need only use hot water for the powder? I'm a fan of the powder dye for that reason.

Re: weee...made pattern for this video tutorial Posted by Billy D. Fuller on Aug 16, 2008
I keep in touch with Magenta on a weekly Basis. To catch everyone up to speed. Magenta gave birth to a very large baby boy born on March 13, 2008 weighing in at 10 pounds 6 ounces. His name is Isaiah.
Being a large Baby and a difficult birth because his head was stuck in the birth canal. This has caused some medical conditions for Isaiah that Meg and her husband are dealing with at the moment. I want go into details about his condition. She said he is being treated for his condition but otherwise is a very healthy baby boy. So this limits the time that Meg gets to spend with us. We wish her and her family well. Here is the big boys picture.

Just use hot tap water for both liquid and powder, you do not need to heat the water on a stove. Liquid mixes in seconds unlike powder you have to make sure it has no bits in the water, takes a little longer. Unless your hot water is not very hot but most homes have fairly hot water. I hope this helps.....I dye 90 pieces of foam for my workshops at a time you should see the lay out I have to make it quick. I also dye the foam in three different colours.
