Does anyone know if Nice Braga has released a pattern her Tutorial Making Puppet video? It's located on her wedsite: http://puppetsbrazil.blogspot.com  in her archive on the (left side) under the month of June (Junho 2007); scroll down to where it says "Tutorila Making Puppet".  Shawn is it possible for you to check with her if you get a chance? If not can someone (Puppetlady, Magenta [I know you have a lot going on careing for your son which definetly comes first]) a pattern for this, that's if it's not violating any rights.

Welcome Andrew, friend and co-worker of Cicero and Nice.  So glad that you stopped by and joined.  I do hope that Nice joins also.  If not please let her know how much the folks at Puppets and Stuff appreciates the video's and patterns.  They have been well used by many.   Also let her know that if it is easier for her to answer/post in Portuguese that I am sure that we can run it through translators or like you mention when you are here you could translate for us.

As far as I know Nice either has already joined or is planning to join.  I told her that she can publish things in Portuguese and I will translate for her.

Thanks!  Let me just reiterate that any talent belongs to Cicero and Nice.  My function is to say "wouldn't it be neat if we could..." and then they either tell me I am crazy or say "yeah...we can do that". 

When I get half a minute I will post some more details of what we are doing on the introduction thread.

A big thanks for you and Nice. The videos that she has put on YouTube are the ones that inspired me the most to start doing my own puppets last year. When i saw those videos, i realised that i could too do puppets like the muppet style puppets. It was a true revelation for me. Ok, i did not have the chance to make many puppets, only one in foam and a few others in other materials, but its a start.

Thank you so much for joining our gang. I promise you, you will love every bit of it here.

Great to have you here and directing us to those great patterns.  It really is a blessing to have such giving puppeteers to help newbies become inspired and successful on there first puppet.   

I hope Nice will joins us soon.

I have downloaded that pattern.  The one I'm referring to is the one in her archive on the (left side) under the month of June (Junho 2007); scroll down to where it says "Tutorila Making Puppet" above it.  The puppet is made totally different from the one posted here, It seems to be a very simple puppet for beginners to make.  I tried to copy and past the direct link to the video but couldn't.  So if anyone goes to her website and see what I'm talking about and can make a pattern or know if she has released one let me know.

I know they have those patterns...I just don't remember where.  I am going to their house tomorrow, and I will ask her about those...if she doesn't see this before then.

Thanks Andrew.  It's the one she uses in her workshops (classes).  Seem simple enough for the youth on the puppet ministry at my church to make.  Tell Nice thanks so much for being so kind for sharing her talent and patterns with us.  Like stated earlier, when ever she joins this group she will love it.  Everyone here is always sharing their talent, knowledge and is always willing to help.  I enjoy visiting Nice's website and looking at the pictures, I wish I could understand the language, but the pictures speak volumes.  Thanks again.
