Tour little boy is a cutie. That milling machine sounds very interesting. My mind is going about 150 miles an hour right now.Or actually because I am a Canadian I should say 230 kilometers an hour.I am envisioning all the grandkids done as puppets..I am getting way ahead of myself I've only just made my first 2 puppets.Maybe somewhere down the road.Anyways Your little boy turned out great.

I am only just starting out in making puppets i am on my first one and not sure about it. The machine sounds great something I would like to do myself. Funds wouldn't let me at the moment and I think my husband would have something to say about it would be havent you got enough junk to go on with. I like to try different things. diane m

Magenta, thank you. The figure is about 6.5 inches tall. Depending on the size of the cutting bit one can do fine detail. I know what you mean about creating lumps and bumps in 3D. That is how it started out for me as well, then I kept working at it and I was able to create characters I invisioned. I have attached a pict of a basic male head I created in 3D. No I I would have to do is set in up in the mill software for cutting and press start.
Wisers Mom, Thanks! I know how you feel about ones mind racing with ideas, as I have the same condition:)
Diane M, The milling process is a fun one, and just a different way of creating a puppet. I mostly do all my work hand sculpting and then cast in latex. I love to see your first puppet, as It is alway a moment of celibration:)
Regards,
William

Is it just me, or is that guy staring really hard at the last pork chop?
