I am interested in all sorts of crafts cake decorating, sewing cross stitching, etc. Came accross this site as I would like to be able to make my own puppets not very good at drawing or making my own patterns. I am in the middle of trying to design a head at the moment so I can make moving mouth puppets. It will be great to see the kids in church all taking part and having their own puppets to use.

Well, diane, you came to the right place. Welcome to Puppets & Stuff. If there's any way we can be of help just ask. Several of the regulars design and build their own puppets we can answer just about any question you have relative to puppets.

Hi Diane, it's great having you here!
Don't be afraid to take things slowly at first. There are many different kinds of puppets, of varying complexity. Baby steps will get you where you need to go, if you're patient.

You sound a lot like me,if it's a craft I probaldo it.But yes you have come to the right place.Everyone here is so extremely helpful and friendly.Enjoy your experience of making puppets.
