The end product is similar to that of the round head pattern Andrew had listed on puppetbuilding.com.

I like the bug puppets Jon.  Have you used them yet in church?  I hadn't thought of using a mechanism to manipulate the mouth, but it's a cool way to move a mouth small figure.

Yes I have used two of them in church, Joshua Junebug and Professor Inch.  The people love them.  My favorite one to use so far is Joshua.  It just sems more natural for me to get inside his character.  I think Adam ant will be similarly easy.
