ok The antron is designed for this. Regular fleece will always show a bit of a seem. With regular fleece your stiches will have to be so close together to get a decent result.

Thanks SHould I have thought about it. years ago when I was in florida I wrote a book called the secret lives of puppets and wanted to do a video series. It all fell through and so may books and videos came out that I thought I would never find a bulisher out there so I guess I gave up on the idea. This has been really fun to do and I want to contienue now. I think I will do a puppet from pattern to completion. I am working on three characters for a client all will have mechanical eyes and are very different builds. Maybe I should video thir construction.

I think it would benefit all of us in the puppetry. Your puppets are really great and your work is so inspirational. Of course, you dont have to tell us all your secrets, but what you do give to the community will help many people like myself.

I am drooling at the mouth on both of these thoughts......Can you do a little something on picture to completion, so when people send in a drawn design how do you approach it?  Talk about your thoughts, notes you scribble, what you look at and figure out the end result.  before you start cutting the foam.

Do you use a vacuum forming machines for making eyes or other parts for the puppets?  What methods do you use to create unique eyes that may not be found through simple materials?  I think eyes are so important as we all know they are the soul of the puppet.

Guys I am moving the videos to a site all their own linked from the Drpuppet site and from 99acrewoods. I will have them up as soon as I can. I just finished the hand video and will have the picking the seems video done soon. As well as building the foam head and cutting the mouth plate. Basically the whole Tennant puppet from the beginning since we started in the middle.

Also I wondered i want to set these up as a pay download with larger file sizes. Here is my thought tell me what you think. 3 bucks or so to download the full video. Now I will also be making a video on building my rats from the ground up going over flocking and such. In that one the video will be 3 dollars and the pattern will be 5 does that sound fair to everyone? I want to make it as easy as possible please give me your thoughts. I thought these amounts would be accessable to everyone including churches and organizations with not a lot of money to invest.

I hope I did not make anyone mad by taking them down but I did not want to clogg the 99 acre wood site
