Hello Everyone!

Just making sure I do things the proper way and posting an 'Introducing Yourself/Myself' thingy...

So, I mainly work creating make-up effects for movies, video and television.  In my spare time
(what little of it there seems to be now!) I like to create strange and bizarre little puppets. I've
always had a fascination with puppets and not just Muppet-type puppets...  All puppets!

I have many video projects planned for my puppet creations and if I manage to finally get cracking
and finish some of them...  Perhaps you'll see em' up on the web !  (my New Years resolution this
year was to get up off my butt and start finishing these projects, so it will happen...)

I found this forum thru one of my many web searches for puppet related sites and videos.  I'll
probably wind up doing a lot of lurking here, but from time to time I'll do my best to contribute
to the forum.

Welcome to Puppets and Stuff....................... that was my Dream as a young man to become a special effects makeup artist, but it never came true. Can't wait to see your puppet films in the upcoming year. If we can be of help let us know.

   There's always room for another puppeteer hear at P&S.  Feel free to hang out and learn what you can but I also hope that you give puppet building a try.  Decide what kind of puppets you are most interested in and give it a go.  It's a great hobby.

'Wisers Mom': I've posted two pictures of puppets I've built in my Gallery. The one in my avatar is a Mr. Punch hand puppet and the other I've posted is a quick marionette I made.

'Jon': I've been giving puppet building a try for over 25 years now! Don't worry, I won't stop anytime soon... 

'B. Fuller': I'll keep you guys posted when I get some puppet video finished and posted! Even if you didn't get to follow that dream of being a make-up fx guy, you're still following the dream of puppetry (which runs a close second and uses many related skills!)...

The punch puppet in your avatar looks incredible.  You obviously have some advanced puppet building skills.  Hope I didn't insult by addressing you like a beginner.  Most people who post for the first time are just starting out.  We'll be looking to you to give some gerat advise.
