We had made a website but it turns out itunes wont sell podcasts. So we are looking at another way and just making it like password thing.

So will this be a download file we use thru a email ? What method of payment and can we pay for all downloads at one time and then you send the passwords for each item.
I still would like a hard disc version at a later date. When will the downloads be available.

we are looking at a couple of companies for the DVD's. These would be 720x480 versions of the videos for download. As far as exactly how it works I am still trying to find all the ins and outs. What I am figuring is to do a video a week and just keep adding to them. Some building certain puppets from scratch with downloadable patters and others tips and tricks for props sets and effects. I will also take requests for videos too.

This is what I would like to see............ but it is just a suggestion.
Building a Puppet with Jay
Chapter one- Foam Construction-how to make the different shapes of heads with accent features such as chins, cheeks, noses, eyes, and ears.
Chapter two- Foam Bodies- How to construct different shapes of bodies.
Chapter three- foam arms and legs,,,,,,,,,arm rod construction.
Chapter four- fleecing your puppet
Chapter five- finishing your puppet with eyes, hair, and costuming.
Chapter six- Sewing tips and other short cut building tips.
Am I leaving anything out.................. How long is a average Dvd a hour or hour and thirty mins. Unless it is a two part series.
Then you can make individual dvd videos that demonstrates individual character puppet builds along with cd patterns that come with instructions. These can be sold together or separatley.
What ever you decide will be great................... you can do a one time video like other builders or do add ons like project puppet and dave privett. I'm sure the ending results will be the same. Making it a good teaching video will be what makes it a good seller. From the samples you gave us so far they will be user friendly. If you need any help PM me............... not sure what I can do but will be glad to do research for you. Can you rent or buy one of the multiple DVD burners and just make your own copies. Using outside companies will make your cost go up won't it?
Take a look at my favorite computer company---------- you can buy dvd's, cases, multiple burners, etc.

Just my 2 cents worth

I would be very interested in buying this video on DVD. Thank you for being so considerate to think of the church groups without a lot of money, but they could learn to make puppets well and sell some as a fundraiser if you leave that option open to them.
Re: What happened to the puppet making videos Posted by miguel on Aug 26, 2008
Hi, there! I'm new here. My name is Miguel. And I just (I think) find out the way to write in the forum.
I need a lot advise and help (Patient too) from you guys about how to build puppets. I really love puppets (Since child, but never had one), and now that I'm a grown up, I start it again to (No only to have one) know how to build them.
I saw the post of "Doctor who preview2 reconstructing David Tennant Puppet head", but is not longer there (I couldn't even watch it). And I wondering, how can i get that intruction video (I saw your comment about, and its looks much better that others on sale by internet).
Any suggestion, and help will be appreciate (A lot)
Starting in this field Miguel!
