Does anyone know any books on making hats for puppets? I need to make a cowboy hat for a bear that is coming out suspiciously familiar looking to try and make him look a little less like a certain bear comedian.

It maybe cheaper to just buy one. I was in dollar tree yesterday and they had some in black, blue and brown. If there's a walmart or dollar store near you check there. You can also ckeck out Builder Bear's website. That's if you want to spend a few dollars. Also there was a link to someone who had put together a book on how to make clothes for your puppet and you can download it free. I don't have the link right now, maybe someone will come along and post it for you. Good luck.

Hobby Lobby and maybe Michaels carries a child size cowboy hat.  I bought one in tan.  Its shaped fun foam, nice and light.

How do you like that, folks actually use the option to view the site on their phones!  I knew it was a feature of the program that runs the site but had never checked it out since I refuse to pay the cost of web connection on my phone.  Not to mention the display is so small I can't see it with my old eyes.

I also just noticed that your replies when you send them from your phone seem to have a small  phone icon.  I didn't realize that was part of the set up.  How cool is that!

I don't know how quickly you need this hat, but the season is fast approaching. I don't do much Halloween type stuff, other than hit the costume aisle at Walmart for puppet accessories.

 I'm addicted to this site  .  I was at Wally World (WalMart) browsing the web and decided to check out what was going on here.  I also visit here on my lunch break at work, since they monitor where we visit on the net I have to use my cell phone.  I actually have unlimited internet service which comes out pretty cheap since I get a discount from my job.  As you can see I'm always "lurking"  .
