I'd love to see your photos too.
OK, here's the deal.  You have to download your photos into the gallery first before you write up any text.  Hit the gallery tab and use the pulldown menu on the left to download pictures into your own album.  Then when you go to write some text you can pull those pictures in from the gallery using the "Gallery image" button on the bottom.  You then have to chose your album from a series of pulldown menus and then click on the photo you wish to insert.  I bit complicated, but easy enough to do once you figure it out.

I agree that it is a bit complicated but I am going to try and work on that.   I did send Spoon instructions via a PM pretty much to the letter of what you posted.
