Hey Gang,

Spoon here...I have a question, does someone have a link or place I can goto about how to string a marrionette puppet...the ones I do always seem to be lop sided or unable to hold a proper balance...I'm just looking for some tidbits or easy to follow instructions...thanks again for anyone who can help...toodles

try this for starters.  it looks like there is a dvd as well

David Currells book is excellent and show you each step

This is more complex but is well described

I do know from experience you need to construct a gallows for holding the weight of the marionette.  Although a useful husband / wife / partner / captive (but tall) child will do at short notice

Ahh man... now I can't take that site down!   Just kidding Billy.  I need to get back to that site some day and really re-work it.

When you are at YouTube check out the "Related Videos" for the rest of the videos in that series of Expert Village videos. They all start with "All About Marionettes".
