Hi Miguel,
I love your puppets, you did a great job for your first. I like them all but my favorite is the one in the gray shirt. He's so cute. So, did you use a pattern or created your own? You've come to great place for information if you should ever need any. This site is loaded, I know I have learned a lot and I'm still learning. Keep up the good work.

No patterns (Follow just my imagination. The only one was the one with the grey shirt "Mr. Paul videos"). I just have like 3 months (I think less) trying to build puppets.
You guys are excellent artist, I want to be like you guys (For example the puppetfrom your avatar is awesome, like others that I've seen).
Thanks for you comments.
Any help, suggestions, please help me, and let me know.

OK.
Angel. question! Did you add foam at the head of your avatar puppet?

What a fantastic beginning! I like that you did not use conventional fabric for your puppets' skin. Is the red head made with craft felt? If it is, then a big applause is well deserved because working with this material is not always the easiest for bigger projects like this. I have noticed that it does not give a good stretch which makes covering foam and heads much easier. I am also impressed that you created your own patterns. You have a good concept with your forms. It is also a good idea to try making one puppet from an existing puppet to learn the skill of following a pattern but also to show you how to layout your own design on paper for future use. In most beginning art classes, you are taught to "imitate" a master work of art. For instance, I chose to paint a replica of Van Gogh's "Cafe in Arles at Night." The purpose of doing this exercise is to try to learn how the masters accomplished their techniques for the finished product. I think that this is also a good lesson in the art of puppetry. Most will start out with trying their hand out with a Jim Henson Muppet puppet. I like that your first puppet was your absolute own and like all of us, I'm sure you will cherish your first always. It is nice to keep your first puppets around so that you can see all your progression. You are well on your way as it is. Congratulations and keep up the good work!
Aloha,
Nikole
