portable sound system Posted by LJ on Sep 04, 2008
Question for all of you performers.  I currently use the Florida Magic sound system which has served me well, but I am wanting to add music to my shows and wondering what other options there are out there for sound systems that can also run my music.  I am needing to be able to operate it by myself so would need a remote or something.  I know that an MP3 player would probably work but I don't know how to add that into my system either.  I would appreciate any ideas or experience you all could share. THANKS!

LJ, do you have an auxiliary in or line in plug on your sound system? If so you can plug your MP3 player into that jack. You may have to get an adapter to plug it into your system. You can get the adapters at Radio Shack, and if you have any questions they should be able to help you.

This is a great system I have seen it work and it sounds great even outside.  The sound is clear and rich even for a voice.  It packs up all in one piece and the speakers have a hole to mount them on a pole if wanted.  This system will easily accommodate the MP3 player and it will handle wireless items as well.  Basically it is everything you could ever need and won't be outdated in any time to short.  It may cost a little more but you will be very happy with the item and not worry about replacing it.
