New Puppetlady Logo Posted by puppetlady on Sep 07, 2008
I'm starting to label my puppets and my marketing letters with my new logo. Here it is:
Puppets get fabric labels made with iron-on transfer paper printed on the printer backwards so that when ironed onto the fabric the logo is forwards. Labels also include my address and email so interested parties can contact me for repairs or new orders.

Hey,
I make my labels the same way, took me a while to figure out how to do the mirror image thing on my printer . But i got it. It's a lot cheaper and more versatile. Love your logo. I to include some contact info on the labels.

I'd like to make a version of my logo for my motorcycle helmet. It would have to be white since my helmet is black. Where would I have that done? A graphics shop?

Maybe airbrushed?

Hmm..that would work. I just have to make a stencil. Thanks!

Is there an airbrush shop near where you live? If so and you go there you may not need a stencil. I don't know what they would charge, but If you're going to do it be careful of paint seeping under the stencil.

Another option would go to a auto body detail shop.............. Have one of the guys that do the pin striping. They can cut the design from a sheet of the same material that they use to do detail lines down the sides of vehicles. Now if you just wanted to test it out and you feel crafty you could cut it from a sheet of sign vinyl using the stensil and just stick it on. If you decide it doesn't look right it will peel right off. I still like the airbrush idea. I would have them do it on a tee shirt first before I would hand over my helmet.

I might try airbrushing it myself by making a stencil out of self adhesive shelf liner or acetate or something.
Mmm T-shirt. I could practice on a T-shirt. I'd like a T shirt too.
