I too have met my fair share of slugs but I have never met one as good looking and friendly as yours!! Well done!!!

Thanks guys for all your compliments. He was very simple to make. Not having to do hands was a big time saver. I think I've gotten the mouth just about perfected. Every one I've asked to give it a try is very impressed with how comfortable and easy to opperate the mouth is.

Good body shape. Looks like a slug! Does the hand go up through the body then?

Yes, the hand goes up through the body to get to the head. The body is short so this puppet would even make a good walk around puppet. Some of the puppets I've made have had to have tall bodies to get the scale of puppet I was wanting. As a result its really only good for use behind a stage. The head and body are fully lined and very comfortable. I'm planning to show him off at the OWS puppet fest in springfield in a few weeks.
