IGOR movie Posted by Nikole H. on Sep 25, 2008
I took little Harrison to see the new IGOR animated movie the other day.  The story line was okay but the humor was a bit over the heads of little ones and not very funny.  HOWEVER....the animation was amazing!  I highly recommend taking in a matinee of the movie (b/c I wouldn't pay full price for the movie) just for inspiration purposes.  The characters really reminded me of rod puppet characters that Hansjurgen Fettig might have made....YUMMY!

Harrison is 3 and he was a bit antsy in the pantsy during the movie.  It didn't seem like the writers had children in mind when writing it.  There was sooooooooo much talking and use of big words.  The only thing that grabbed Harrison's attention was the look of it.  He really likes the Halloween type animation shows like Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride.  I think your 11 year old will get the jokes more than the 5 year old but then she might not think they are very funny anyways...hehehe.  Still worth watching but like I said....during the cheap matinee time only.
