I hadn't thought of puppets in the school classroom.  Sounds like a fun idea.  What grade does she teach?

In S.C. it is a requirement for college students taking elementary education to make a puppet before they graduate. So they start early encouraging teachers to use puppets............ I have not had anybody ask for my services in college yet and I have Lander College and a Piedmont Community College in my town. I have had several teachers order puppets for there summer arts program.

That's good to know.  There's a whole new market I hadn't thought of.  Teaching a puppet making class to teachers might be real popular too.

Good job.  Love the shirt and hat, very farmerish!

He'd look good in a fall set with pumpkins and scarecrows.  The flannel shirt fits the theme well.

He looks great - like the eyes and the teeth are very effective!

I think it should be a requirement for ALL teachers to get some training in puppetry.  In fact I am working on a class for teaching teachers to use and make simple puppets for their classrooms.   I am glad to know that some places agree!!
