Delivered this guy to his new owner. She is a music teacher and asked if I had any suggestions for names. Ones that had something to do with music. I had no clue. I don't know music terms, so I suggested she have a contest in her classes for the students to name the puppet. The winner would get a certificate as their prize. She then told me that this guy was going to be used to give out prizes and certificates in her classroom. Too funny!

She is going to be showing him to the other teachers and hopefully I'll get some more orders. She also said she wants either a sheep or a cow for next year. The school gives her X amount to spend however she wants and she wants puppets. Only thing is I have to wait until next year when she gets more money.

Oh well, I have lots of time to come up with a cow and revise my sheep.

Anyway, she is just thrilled with the puppet.

Nice job on the puppet and glad to hear that she wants to repeat business with you.  It really is nice to see the person receive the puppet for the first time.  I hate to send them in the mail, but sometimes that is life.

Cool suggestion on having the students name him.

I want to be a student, here is my suggested name: Reggie Peggio. He would go by his first initial, R. Peggio. (Arpeggio: The notes of a chord played in succession to one another, rather than simultainously. A broken chord.)

Chris,

I love your suggestion for the puppets name!  It is brilliant! I guess he could also be called Dale since he is a farmer and then they could sing Farmer In the Dell.

Sue,
Great job on the puppet!  I am so please to hear that you'll be getting more work because of him... you deserve it.

Glad she liked him!  Getting the students involved in the naming is a great idea!  I just submitted a course syllabus on teaching teachers to use puppetry in their classroom.  We will see if it gets approved or not!
