You know the look you want.  My advice ... keep working at it and you'll eventually figure out how to get it built.  If you do go for the beans make sure you use the foam, rather than the plastic or real beans.  The others can get rather heavy.

Maybe with ping pong balls. If you make a collar with them and after that, cover with a fabric with stretch, you will have an undulated body, like annelids. If the fabric is light enough (T-shirt, perhaps), the worm should have a good movement also

jorge ping pong balls good idea but i think its going to cost me ££ but i will look into it.

Hi,
Here is one I make. It's very simple a tube of fabric and a rod with a ball at each end. Pull the ends of the fabric over the balls and glue or stitch it closed.
