I have been using doll joints to attach arms for over 10 years.
The eyes are the half dome like Billy has for sale on his website. I used purple fleece for the top of the eye, a strip of foamie for the liner and feather boa for around the eyes. My next puppet from this pattern will hopefully have moving eyebrows.
The mouth is clipped shut with bent coat hanger. Works great.
The pattern is one I am developing. Still has some bugs to work out.

I very much like the head and body shape of that puppet and I'd say that's key to a good pattern.  Bravo!

I use bent wire too!  Great for photographing and stablizing the haed while choosing features!  Is that a Project Puppet idea?  That's where I found it.
