Thanks for all the help I will be coming back to all the given links in the future as the information given out here is invaluable. Puppets and Stuff what a fantastic resource, you could spend a life time on this site alone and still need another life time to get threw all the knowledge freely given here.

I have gone with the Live Trace Feature in Illustrator as I have it at work as part of a package but never used it. Except when the printers gave me certain files, I would always covert these straight over to Photoshop for editing.

Here is a gif of the same picture in colour I will continue playing with all the info you have given me as my final goal is to make it into a clip art file type  WMF.

I am sure I will find out how to do this amongest the links you have already given.

The reason I have to get back to this is because I am currently putting together something special regarding Halloween for you all.

Regards Henry.

Yeah, I use the live trace method on my illustrator.  I am still new to it so it is pretty much a trial and error.  I haven't had much luck with doing this with color but works well for me with just black and white images.  I really like how the vector image changes my hand drawings into smoother lines.  It really looks like my drawings took a lot of time to create when all they are, are quick doodles while I'm watching t.v.  I can't wait to see your Halloween surprise.  It is my favorite holiday so anything Halloween is a treat for me.    I hope that I am back online to see it!
