I found these Build A Bear Turtle Plushies on ebay:
I was thinking about buying one and taking and using the Shell for my Kappa. I was wondering which of these do you think would be easier to dye a dark greenish/grey color?
Both the shells are removable from those plushies.

Although I like the one on the right side................... the one on the left looks like it has a more workable head to be a puppet. Just my point of view.

no no, I am just going to be using the shell part not the actual turtle plushie.

The lighter color shell is more likely to be dyeable to the color you want but remember that synthetic fake fur well not always dye easily. You might end up haveing to simply take the shell apart and use it as the pattern for your puppets shell with a fabric that is already the color you want.

I'm sorry, I read your post wrong. I have seen people turn stuffed animals into puppets. With that said I have to agree with Shawn that the lighter shell may be a better choice.
