One thing great about Seth the Slug . . . if you tell him a secret, he won't race off and tell the first person he sees!
That was a cool first video. Joshua is very camera friendly!

Good job. He does very well on camera. Thanks for sharing the video with us. I too would suggest moving the camera back a bit, when he was back further from the camer he was easier to see. Keep up the great work!

Very cute and I love the voice for him....very friendly and welcoming. He has such a fun little kid look to him. The eye contact with the camera was great overall. One thing I may suggest that you move the (when watching the video) left antler a little more out of the eye area. I found a few times that this antler (with a slight turn of the head) hides the eyes and I lost the believability and complete sight of the eyes.
Congrats and welcome to the video world....

Oh I love his voice, too! I like his little movements with his head. He is quite adorable. I also LOVE your backdrop!!! CONGRATS on a job well done!!!

Stiq - I noticed the antenna and I've made some adjustment. I think I'll need to keep the antennas in mind when I'm shooting and make sure they do interfere with the shot.
Nikole - Thanks for noticing the backdrop. I designed it for live performance. It's nice but a little small for video work. When I do the actual shooting for the video project I'm working on we'll be using a green screen and adding the back ground later. For those backgrounds I considering using actual photos. A little easier and less bulky than having to store a bunch of backdrops.

Ah yes, storing of backdrops...I know this well! I didn't realize how many I had until I started packing for our move. I like your idea of using the green screen. That sounds like a topic for us to hash out together sometime!
