Hello everyone! My name's Michelle. I've just recently gained an interest in puppet making due to a sock puppet my Pastor had me make for his skit. I'm an artsy-crafty type person and had fun making the sock puppet but then I started researching on other types. I found some info on muppet types and did one with some fabric I had laying around. It turned out ok...considering I had no pattern to really go by, just pictures. My puppet's hands are a little weird....ok not just a little...a lot. And I realized that I made the head a little small....but over all he's really cute. Someone at church wants me to make him one as he's into ventriloquism and does his own skits with an old old puppet...anwhooooo.

I'm really looking forward to snooping around on the site and meeting everyone!

Thanks for the welcome guys! As soon as I can I'll post a picture of my first attempt. I found some patterns on here that I'm going to try...now to find some stores in my area that carries the stuff I need...
