A new portable puppet stage! Yeah! Posted by docmic on Dec 04, 2008
http://www.puppetpartners.com/specNeeds.html

Puppet Partners supplies puppets and cd's and stories for puppeteers that work in schools.

We bought this stage and it is everything the website says it is.

We've used it indoors and outdoors now for about three months. It sets up perfectly, everytime. And it is way way lighter and easier than its predecessor, a pvc homebuilt.

And, by the way, we have no financial interest in the project. It is just a very good product.

I have seen the stage before...................... It does look like it would be easy to manage. I like the  idea that it folds up. They have some pretty good stuff there.

I just discover that link but it is something else now :
"Get Ready, Inc., has acquired the Puppet Partners line of half body puppets and great educational puppet sets."
There is no stage anymore.

A friend of mine just bought this stage and was really disappointed. The fabric was see through, she had to make a lining for it, and the part that holds the whole thing together is plastic. She thought that if that broke, there would be no way to keep the stage together.  She says she will be very particular who puts the stage up and takes it down, they need to be careful of that.  Having said that, she will use the stage, since it's the only one she has and she doesn't want to make one!

Just passing on info.

Well, that's a sobering thought! I really like the frame though, and how it concertina's out.
