Adjustable puppet stage Posted by MsPuppet on Apr 18, 2009
I know there used to be a discussion on here (at least I thought there was) about making your own adjustable aluminum frame stage. Seems like someone said they bought stands from a photo supply.  Anyone have any ideas or links?

The best price I found is from www.bhphotovideo.com You want to get the Da Lite deluxe background system. Probably the best adjustable stage I've seen. It is very lightweight and extremely versatile. You can purchase the components that best fit your needs.

Yes, the Da-Lite components are the ones used in the One Way Street tripod stages.

As said, make sure you're getting the deluxe, the crossbars are 3 sections, and the stands are the round aluminum that have a better height adjustment than the standard stands.

To connect the side crossbars to the backdrop you need the "BG-A" attachment.

Hey guys, old post here, revisited.  ;-)
Looking at this site, have you ever tried this cheaper one

Interfit COR760 Background Support with Telescopic Crossbar, Small

    * 7.8' (2.4m) High, 8' (2.5m) Max Width

    * B&H # INCOR760
    * Mfr #
    * COR760

    * Price : $ 67.99

We are heading to Poland for mission work, and I am desperately looking for a simple, "cheap", portable stage.   It will be just me and my children using the puppets, so we don't need anything fancy.  Performances will be in children's hospitals and open city parks.
What do you all think?
Thanks!

Sara

The site did not come through.
Have you checked with the missionaries to see what is available there?  You might be able to put a stage together when you get there, which will help on your weight limits with the airlines.

Are you going as AIMers?
