Have a look at Daryl's YouTube channel. http://www.youtube.com/user/StiqPuppets He has a lot of great videos. Even if you can't understand English very well I think the visuals may help. He has tons of videos on all parts of puppet making. It should help you understand how a puppet goes together.
Project Puppet has patterns for sell. http://www.projectpuppet.com/servlet/Categories?category=All They do cost money but they are pretty easy to understand. Here is one series of videos that the builder used a Project Puppet pattern for. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL75912549D8606DCB
Here is another playlist at YT that shows general building techniques for puppets. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL26E6D6FF8CD6F75E

P.S. Sorry, you'll have to copy and paste the links. They won't auto link for me.

If you are on facebook, I put pictures of patterns I have found as well as the ones I have made. They are in the pictures section at https://www.facebook.com/MakingPuppets. I have just bought some clear pages that I am going to make grids on to lay over my patterns so they will be easier to reproduce.
I also posted a blog with step-by-step pictures and instructions at http://puppetsmitharts.blogspot.com. This one doesn't use a set pattern but is made as you go. The instructions include covering the puppet with liquid latex for the finish, but you can stop before the latex steps and cover it with fleece.
Hope they help!
